Chugai sponsored the "Hand Bike Class for Parents and Children" held by the general incorporated association ZEN.
Chugai has been supporting this activity since 2021.

The event was held at Inage Seaside Park in Chiba Prefecture on October 22, 2022, and at Kami-fuchu Park in Kanagawa Prefecture on November 5, 2022, with the aim of promoting independence among children with disabilities and their families by providing them with opportunities for outdoor activities, which can be difficult for them.

A total of 22 participants took part in the event, riding hand bikes with breaks so as not to be too strenuous for children in their early elementary school years. They worked hard to reach the goal point, feeling the wind along the seashore and riding under the changing colors of the leaves. We believe that the children who participated in the event were able to fully experience the joy and exhilaration of being able to go far on their own.

We will continue to support the creation of a society where everyone can take on challenges with the aim of realizing a inclusive society.
