Important issues to be resolved
(Materialities)

In order to “achieve advanced, sustainable patient-centric healthcare” while sharing value with stakeholders, we have defined 16 key issues as materialities and are working on them from a mid- to long-term perspective.

The 16 material issues are organized along three axes - Challenge, Co-creation, and Commitments - to create a story that is easily shared with internal and external stakeholders. This framework allows us to communicate our approach to materiality more clearly and effectively promote the creation of shared value.

Important issues to be resolved (Materialities)

In advancing our basic management policy of creating shared value, we have identified 16 important issues on which we should focus as materiality. These material issues will be reviewed regularly in response to changes in the environment and the progress of Chugai’s business activities. Sustainability is part of our management strategy, and we believe it is important to approach diverse initiatives in an integrated and strategic manner and to promote these activities.

The 16 material issues are organized along three axes - Challenge, Co-creation, and Commitments - to create a story that is easily shared with internal and external stakeholders. This framework allows us to communicate our approach to materiality more clearly and effectively promote the creation of shared value.
