Basic Approach

To conduct business with high ethical standards.

The Chugai Group believes that “corporate ethics take priority over profit”. This means that to us, compliance is more than just adhering to laws and regulations – it also means meeting the expectations of society by taking action based on social values, ethics, and fairness.

Whistleblowing channels are available for our employees to seek consultations and report compliance violations.

Initiatives

Initiatives for compliance

The Chugai Group promotes compliance by dividing it into three areas: corporate compliance, healthcare compliance, and GxP compliance.

Healthcare compliance

We promote healthcare compliance based not only on legal compliance but also on the socially accepted norms and values expected of a pharmaceutical company.

Corporate compliance

We are taking a wide range of measures, including formulating and strictly enforcing an anti-bribery policy, providing compliance training to all employees, and setting up a consultation center.

GxP compliance

We are committed to strict quality control and safety assurance based on GxP* throughout the entire pharmaceutical process, from development to sales.

  • *GxP: An abbreviation for Good x Practice, which specifies the implementation standards for functions related to the development, manufacturing, and sale of pharmaceuticals, as well as the laws and regulations that serve as the basis for these standards.
