Clinical scientist (Clinical science and strategy function for Ophthalmology)

Background of recruitment:
As a member of Roche group, generating clinical development plans (CDP) as well as organized structures enabling value maximization after market launch and medical activity-oriented highly strategic planning are prerequisites for providing innovative medicines to patients globally. To this end, we require the scientific view of those from a medical and pharmacological background and in addition to competitive intelligence and market analysis skills. We seek individuals who fullfill these criteria and who can have in-depth discussions on diseases and therapeutics with Roche counterparts and Ophthalmology area experts.

Description of work ・Deliberation and plannning of target indications and clinical development plan (CDP)
・Setting target product profile (TPP) and generation of probablity of technical success
・Communication and negotiation with affiliates overseas and domestic stakeholders, such as therapeutic area experts (TAEs)
・Clinical and scientific evaluation on due diligence of potential in-license products
・Regulatory activities during drug approval process
Required qualifications ・Bachelor's degree as a minimum (faculty of medicine, dentistry, pharmacology, or veterinary medicine)
・2-years or more experience of safety signal detection and risk management in clinical development / 2-years or more experience of clinical science (either of above)
・Experience of safety risk evaluation of non-clinical data is desirable
・English language level suitable for communication with overseas affiliates (e.g. TOEIC score 700+)

Hours Flex time system (core time: 11:30–13:30)
