The Chugai Group has established an action plan for pandemic influenza and new infectious diseases (available on the Chugai website in Japanese only) based on the Act on Special Measures for Pandemic Influenza and New Infectious Diseases Preparedness and Response. With this plan, the Chugai Group will fulfill its responsibility as a designated public institution by doing everything possible to provide stable supplies of medicines to help protect people’s lives and health during a pandemic or epidemic.
