Chugai Selected for the “KENKO Investment for Health” for the Third Consecutive Year

TOKYO, March 9, 2026 -- Chugai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (TOKYO: 4519) announced that it has been selected for the “2026 KENKO Investment for Health” by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE), in recognition of its outstanding initiatives in KENKO Investment for Health. This marks the third consecutive year that Chugai has been selected for the “KENKO Investment for Health.” The Company has also been certified for the sixth consecutive year since 2021 as one of the top 500 enterprises (White 500) in the “2026 Outstanding Organizations of KENKO Investment for Health (Large Enterprise Category).”

The KENKO Investment for Health is a program jointly administered by METI and TSE to promote health management initiatives among listed enterprises. The program selects companies that view employee health management from a management perspective and engage in strategic initiatives, and introduces them to investors who place importance on the enhancement of corporate value from a long-term perspective. Specifically, one enterprise per industry is selected in principle from among listed enterprises ranked within the top 500 applicants for the Outstanding Organizations of KENKO Investment for Health (Large Enterprise Category).
