Sponsoring the "Chugai Pharmaceutical 2026 Chair Ski Workshop for Parents and Children"

Chugai Pharmaceutical sponsors the “Chugai Pharmaceutical 2026 Family Chair Ski Program,” an initiative for children with disabilities and their families. Organized by the Japan Chair Ski Association, the program was held for the 11th consecutive year in 2026. This year, sessions took place at five ski resorts across Japan: Miyagi Zao Eboshi Ski Resort (Miyagi Prefecture), Hunter Mountain Shiobara (Tochigi Prefecture), Maiko Snow Resort (Niigata Prefecture), Yuzawa Nakazato Snow Resort (Niigata Prefecture), and Kiroro Resort (Hokkaido), with a total of 122 families participating.

During the program, participants set goals aligned with their individual abilities and challenged themselves to achieve them. The experience provided opportunities for children to build confidence through taking on new challenges, while families and peers offered support and encouragement. Through these shared experiences, participants fostered greater independence, resilience, and stronger connections with those around them.
By supporting this initiative, Chugai contributes to creating inclusive opportunities for people of all abilities to enjoy sports in the same environment. The program helps foster self-esteem and a willingness to take on new challenges while promoting social inclusion through sport.
