Chugai Sponsors "Hand Bike Class for Parents and Children in 2024

Chugai has again cosponsored the “Hand Bike Classes for Parents and Children” held by ZEN, a general incorporated association, in 2024. The purpose of this event is to encourage children with disabilities and their families to become independent by providing them with opportunities for outdoor activities. We have been supporting this activity since 2021. This year, the event was held three times at Saiko Doman Green Park in Saitama Prefecture, with a total of 47 people participating.

Saiko Doman Green Park is a vast 66-hectare park that is an urban oasis where people can feel close to rich nature, wild animals, and plants, even though it is located near the center of the city.
Children and their families rode hard around Lake Sai under a wide, refreshing blue sky. In addition to experiencing the fun of hand biking, parents and children worked hard together to overcome the 5-km road and steep hills along the way, further strengthening their bonds with family and friends.
