Following the 2021 event, Chugai has concluded an official top partner agreement with the Japan Wheelchair Softball Association (JWSA) to sponsor a nationwide wheelchair softball event in 2022.

Wheelchair softball is a sport that can be enjoyed by everyone, regardless of age or disability, and the purpose of the event is to introduce the sport to as many people as possible and to expand the scope of the sport.

Venue: 8 locations (Miyagi, Osaka, Hokkaido, Tokushima, Saitama, Okinawa, Fukuoka, Okayama)
Participants: Total 286 people (people with disabilities:97 non-disabled people:189)

Chugai will continue to actively support sports for people with disabilities with the aim of realizing inclusive society in which people can play active roles regardless of with or without disabilities.
