Chugai continued its special sponsorship of the "ART FUNK BREAKIN" organized by Japan Adapted Breakin Association and the Agency for Cultural Affairs this year, as it did in 2021. This competition was a breakdance competition for people with disabilities and was held at the Nagai Sports Center for the physically challenged in Osaka.

Thirty children and adults with various disabilities, including Down syndrome and limb disabilities, participated in the competition, which featured dance battles in two categories: solo and 2-on-2. Although there were many different ways of expressing dance depending on the type of disability, all participants performed dynamic and unique dances that captured the hearts of the audience and they made it difficult for the judges to decide the winners. The competition was held while taking sufficient precautions against new coronavirus infection, and the event was also broadcast live on You Tube.
