Since 2010, Chugai has actively participated in Tokyo Greenship Action, sponsored by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. On November 10th, 2019, at the Higashi Toyoda conservation area in Tokyo, 40 participants (employees and their families) from Chugai Group joined with non-profit organizations for wielding grass shears and mowing sickles – tools they seldom have a chance to use – to cut the dense underbrush and trim the overgrown trees.

After mowing, the little birds came to poking for eating something on the ground in a short time.

In addition continuing to clearing trees, after lunch, we held nature observations. Offering opportunities to think on one’s own for environment conservation, it seems that each participant was able to feel the beauty and importance of nature and the pleasure of experiencing nature through this program.
