TOKYO, May 25, 2026 -- Chugai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (TOKYO: 4519) announced the following organizational and personnel changes, effective July 1, 2026.

Establishment of Strategic Investment Dept.
Chugai will establish a new Strategic Investment Dept. to strengthen strategic investment capabilities, including M&A and equity investments, aligned with Chugai’s management strategy, as part of its efforts to enhance corporate value and drive the realization of the growth strategy. The new department will be responsible for formulating strategic investment policies and developing and operating the execution framework, and will lead the review and execution of individual strategic investment projects in coordination with relevant departments.
