TOKYO, July 15, 2020 -- Chugai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (TOKYO: 4519) extends its deepest sympathy to all the people affected by the rain disaster in July over wide areas in Japan including the Kyushu and Chubu regions.

Chugai has decided to donate 10 million yen in total to Association for Aid and Relief, Japan, which is non-profit organization and Association of Medical Doctors of Asia (AMDA) Group to aid the affected people and support the reconstruction of the affected areas.

Chugai sincerely hopes that the affected area would recover and reconstruct as early as possible.
