TOKYO, May 16, 2016 -- Chugai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (TOKYO: 4519) announced today that it has decided to make donations to "Peking University Chugai Medical Foundation" pertinent to Peking University Educational Foundation [Secretariat: Beijing City, China / Representative: Dr. Deng Ya] for the next three years starting from 2016 as part of its social contribution activities.

"Peking University Chugai Medical Foundation" was established in 2013 under the alliance between Peking University Health Science Center and Chugai so as to enable Chugai to make donations to support the education of medical students at Peking University (undergraduate and graduate courses).
