職務内容／Job duties 募集背景： 中外製薬は、成長戦略「TOP I 2030」の実現に向けて邁進しています。同戦略では、大きな柱の一つとして「世界最高水準の創薬」の実現を掲げています。具体的には、現在のR&Dアウトプットを10年間で2倍に拡大し、革新的な自社開発グローバル品を毎年上市できる会社を目指します。世界最高水準の創薬活動を実現する「場」として、中外ライフサイエンスパーク横浜が2022年10月に竣工し、2023年4月から本格稼働しました。新しい研究所において当社は、これまでに積み上げてきた抗体技術をはじめ中分子、低分子技術を更に強化するとともに新規モダリティの開発にも取り組み、独創的な創薬アイデアの具現化に挑戦しています。加えてAI創薬やクライオ電子顕微鏡の活用や、自動化機器間を連携する自走式モバイルロボットの導入などの次世代ラボオートメーションの構築にも積極的に取り組み、生産性と質の向上を図っています。このような最先端の創薬研究を行うために用いられる多くの研究機器は、革新的な創薬を実現する上で欠かせないものであり、信頼性を確保する上でも重要なものです。高度化する研究や技術革新の目覚ましい分野で世界的な競争優位を確立するため、研究者のニーズに合った研究機器の選定、効率的な研究環境構築のための施設面からの機器配置最適化の提案、着実な購入計画立案とトラブル対応や予防保全による機器の安定稼働を実現しています。デバイス利用状況等のデータを駆使し、研究者とディスカッションをしながら、ニーズや課題と向き合いベストなソリューションの提案や提供を通じて、創薬プロジェクト推進への貢献ならびに研究生産性向上の一翼を担う役割です。将来の成長に向けて、世界の最先端機器に関する情報をタイムリーに収集し、研究者に適切な情報提供や提案を行うとともに、協力会社との協働やメーカーとも機器の共同開発をリードするような積極的な人財を求めています。 Background of recruitment: Chugai is striving to realize its growth strategy "TOP I 2030," which aims to achieve "world-class drug discovery" as one of the major pillars of this strategy. Specifically, we aim to double our current R&D output in 10 years and become a company that can launch innovative in-house developed global products every year. As a place to realize world-class drug discovery activities, Chugai Life Science Park Yokohama was completed in October 2022 and began full-scale operation in April 2023. In the new laboratory, we are taking on the challenge of realizing original drug discovery ideas by further strengthening our antibody technology, medium molecule technology, and small molecule technology, as well as developing new modalities. In addition, we are actively working to build next-generation laboratory automation, such as AI drug discovery, the use of cryo-electron microscopy, and the introduction of self-propelled mobile robots that link between automated devices to improve productivity and quality. Many research instruments used to conduct such cutting-edge drug discovery research are indispensable for realizing innovative drug discovery and are also important for ensuring reliability. In order to establish a global competitive advantage in the fields of remarkable advanced research and technological innovation, we have selected research equipment that meets the needs of researchers, proposed optimization of equipment placement from the facility aspect to build an efficient research environment, and steadily planned purchases, dealt with problems, and maintained preventive maintenance. This role contributes to the promotion of drug discovery projects and improves research productivity by making full use of data such as device usage and discussing with researchers to face needs and issues and propose and provide the best solutions. For future growth, we are looking for proactive human resources who can collect information on the world's most advanced equipment in a timely manner, provide appropriate information and proposals to researchers, and lead the joint development of devices with partner companies and manufacturers. 仕事内容： ・研究者のニーズに合わせた研究機器の選定やカスタマイズ、メーカーとの協働 ・研究ポートフォリオと機器稼働率に合わせた研究機器の配置最適化の立案 ・着実な購入計画立案と納品・検収の指示 ・IoTデバイスを用いた機器稼働率データの解析と保守・修繕計画立案 ・廃棄・リプレイスといった機器ライフサイクル管理と予算管理に関わる業務 ・機器メーカー、代理店、機器管理会社との協働に関わる業務 *業務を始めるにあたっては中外製薬の創薬の流れやワークフロー等についての概要をまずご理解頂き、その上でこれまでのご経験を活かしていただきつつ各研究員に寄り添いながらお仕事を進めて頂きます。 Description of work: ・Selection and customization of research equipment to meet the needs of researchers, collaboration with manufacturers - Planning of optimization of the placement of research equipment according to the research portfolio and equipment utilization rate ・Steady purchase planning and instructions for delivery and acceptance ・Analysis of equipment operation rate data using IoT devices and planning of maintenance and repair ・Operations related to equipment life cycle management and budget management such as disposal and replacement ・Operations related to collaboration with equipment manufacturers, distributors, and equipment management companies *When starting the job, we would like you to first understand the overview and the workflow of drug discovery at Chugai Pharmaceutical. While utilizing your own expertise to grasp the needs, provide information, and discuss with researchers in various fields, you can experience a wide range of fields, from the introduction of the latest research equipment necessary for drug discovery to effective placement and safety and environmental measures. In collaboration with Roche and Genentech, you will participate in strategic planning of our research equipment and the development of best practices for procurement and management.
