Person responsible for Digital Compliance (including data protection)

With real world, human, and other digital data being put to greater use, we are hiring to step up initiatives aimed at ensuring company-wide digital compliance based on Japanese and overseas regulations.

Position Features:

This is a new position with scope for taking on new challenges. The successful applicant would gain experience in a wide variety of digital compliance work that is not specific to any particular industry.

Description of work

・Decide digital compliance policies for company-wide digital strategies
・Provide in-house user training
・Provide consultation to users for individual projects
・Monitor progress with individual projects
・Serve as secretariat for the Digital Compliance Committee

Required qualifications

Desired experience:

・Experience in developing or managing IT systems or in computerized system validation (CSV) (at least 2 years)

・Experience in protection of personal information or measures to ensure compliance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

・Project management experience

Desired skills/knowledge/abilities:

・Basic PC skills (e.g., word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software)

・Fundamental understanding of CSV and project management

Desired competencies:

・Gain the trust of stakeholders and build sound relationships by maintaining an earnest and sincere stance

・Communicate assertively in discussions and negotiations with internal and external parties, working to reach a mutually beneficial agreement

・Make logical, persuasive arguments when providing explanations to other companies
