Organizational Restructuring and Personnel Changes

August 6, 2010 (Tokyo) - Chugai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. [Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Osamu Nagayama] announced today that the company will make organizational and personnel changes, effective October 1, 2010.

 

【Details of Organizational Restructuring】

- Information System Dept. and ERP System Dept. will be unified to become Information System Dept.

- Transfer of Purchasing Dept. to IT Supervisory Div. from Finance Supervisory Div.

- Primary Sales Promotion Dept. 1 and Primary Sales Promotion Dept. 2 will be unified to become Primary Sales Promotion Dept.

- Dealers Sect. will be newly established in Takamatsu Branch.

- Okazaki Oncology Sect. will be newly established in Oncology Unit Nagoya Sales Dept.

- Oncology Unit Shikoku Sales Dept. Ehime-Kochi Oncology Sect. will be divided into Ehime Oncology Sect. and Kochi Oncology Sect.
