November 6, 2009 (Tokyo) - Chugai's outside director Etsuro Ogata, (Hospital Director Emeritus of The Cancer Institute Hospital of Japanese Foundation for Cancer Research) passed away at 0:43 p.m. on November 1, 2009 due to malignant lymphoma. He was 77 years old. Chugai expresses it deepest condolences on the loss of Dr. Ogata.
