<Major reasons for gender pay gap in regular workers>
Regular workers:

  • the percentage of female employees in each level of managerial position is still lower than that of male employees
  • there are gender gaps in period of childcare leave and utilization ratio of Short-time work system for childcare

Other workers:

  • Many of the fixed-term contract employee are Senior Employees, and their salary is determined based on the salary level at the time of retirement. The fact that the percentage of female employees in each level of managerial position is lower than that of male employees, causes the gender pay gap in Senior Employees
